Following up on the widely successful Block-A-Palooza, People Incorporated and the Narrows Center for the Arts partnered to present Kids-A-Palooza on Sunday, September 25th and the day was an overwhelming success!
As part of the day’s festivities, participants were asked to get their map card stamped as they visited with each participating partner along the route on North Main Street. Once completed, these map cards were gathered and all completed cards were entered into a raffle for a Kindle Fire. Winner, Kyden Gray, was presented with his prize yesterday at People, Incorporated’s main offices.
“The success of Kids-A-Palooza represents exactly why we organize events such as this for our community. Families were able to take part in a great day filled with activities and music while getting an opportunity to visit all the great organizations that provide opportunities for our children to learn, play and grow! The Kids-A-Palooza event shows again how our community is able to come together for a common good. We hope to continue to bring events like the Block-a-Palooza event that was held in July, and Kids-A-Palooza, to the city on an annual basis,” remarked Bill Perkins, President and CEO of People, Incorporated.
Patrick Norton, Executive Director of the Narrows Center for the Arts and our partner for the event noted, “Collaborating with all the participating organizations on this fun event has been a pleasure. We all want to make the City of Fall River a better place to work and play.”
