Jeff Arruda – Nominated for excelling in our core principles of: Commitment, Achievement and Excellence

Nominated by Mark Duval – Vice President of Adult Services

Jeff Arruda is our Director of Day Habilitation Services, which is currently located at our Third Street location.

"During the recent blizzard Jeff was made aware, by the Residential Program Director, that there was an individual we provide residential services to who was stuck at Charlton Memorial Hospital with her staff after being seen for emergency treatment. Jeff was made aware of the situation and during the height of the storm, volunteered to Drive from his home in Dartmouth, pick the two individuals up at Charlton Memorial Hospital and bring them home to Assonet. After shoveling himself out of his own home, Jeff began his trip at around 10:30 p.m. and ended around 1:00 in the morning. During this time, visibility and driving conditions were extremely dangerous.

Because of the blizzard, I can honestly say that we did not have a way for these people to get home. Jeff Arruda, without doubt, went above and beyond any expectations I would have for a People Incorporated employee and for that reason, I would like to nominate him for the PI C.A.R.E.s award”

Jeff is a shining example of the dedication our employees have for the health and well-being of all of the individuals we serve at People, Incorporated. He exemplifies our commitment to the mission of People, Incorporated and we congratulate Jeff on receiving this award.
