September 2017 ROSE COUTO Congratulations to Rose Couto for receiving the PI CARES award! In addition to her full-time nursing position at St. Anne's Hospital, Rose serves as a lifeline for People Incorporated's Diabetes Association, Inc.  She is always there to support staff, regardless of what time of day they reach out to her.  She was originally engaged to cohost Adult Diabetes Education classes with our DAI staff, but her role seamlessly expanded into responding to numerous calls and walk-in requests for assistance from people struggling with a new diagnosis, diabetes management, or needing resources and supplies.  Rose has even quickly [...]

May 2017 JULIE-ANN SOUSA Congratulations to Julie-Ann Sousa for receiving the PI CARES award! Julie was the driving force behind our Annual Wine Tasting Event, People Incorporated's largest event of the year.  Julie took the reins in planning and executing the event adding her stylish touches, including the ever popular candy station!  From preparation and planning that started many months in advance down to the immense setup and decorating on the day of the event, Julie tackled the Wine Tasting event with grace, intent consideration, and professionalism, representing our Agency well.  Thank you, Julie, for all your hard work!
