The Early Intervention Program is looking for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), to work in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment. This position will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and will assist the OT with providing services to children with developmental delays, age birth to three years, and to their families/caregivers. This position will assist in providing therapy in the child’s natural environment within a family centered, community-based program. Responsibilities also include attending parent meetings, community case conferences, transitional activities or relevant activities that may include providing insight, information, referrals or advocacy for children and their families.

Qualified candidates will possess a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts, as well as an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution. Our Residential Program is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an RN- Program Operations Manager who will manage a 24-hour medically involved supported home in Taunton. This positon will serve as a management team member responsible for the overall functioning of assigned residential site(s) including quality treatment, contract compliance, budget management, facilities, hiring, training and retaining staff and ensuring proper coverage is maintained to meet the consumers’ needs. Our new Taunton Day Habilitation Program is seeking a Part Time RN Health Care Supervisor to provide instruction and support, as well as oversee all health-care services provided to the program participants. The Diabetes Association is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes (Camp Jack) within the dates of July 10, 2017-August 18, 2017. Camp Jack operates from 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Hours needed may vary. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attending pre-camp/in-camp trainings as required, overseeing all healthcare services for Camp Jack participants and staff, solving problems and managing behaviors when necessary, assisting in snack and mealtime blood glucose monitoring and set-up, including insulin injections and pump corrections, enforcing program/camp safety rules and performing first aid when necessary.

LPN by the Board of Registration, Division of Professional Licensure is required. A minimum of an Associate’s of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program, with at least two (2) years of clinical experience. Experience in diabetes and nutrition. Diabetes Association Inc, in partnership with People, Incorporated is seeking Camp Mentors for The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes (Camp Jack). The Camp Mentor is responsible for assisting with the safety and overview of an assigned age group at all times. They provide leadership to camp participants and support to Counselors abiding by the State’s and American Camp Association’s guidelines and protocols. Mentors assist with scheduled camp activities and special events throughout the season, and act as a role model for the group assigned. Mentors are required to attend all mandatory orientation dates as well as the camp open house. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-3:45 (unless choosing to ride the bus). Age requirements are 16+. At times, de-escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others. This position requires a flexible schedule including 2nd and/or 3rd shifts. This position is required to work at least one shift on a weekend and some holidays.

These positions require a minimum high school diploma or GED, and direct care experience and relevant trainings. Training to include but not limited to; MAP certification; NVMAB, First Aid and CPR. Individuals with C.N.A, PCA and HHA certification or a degree in Human Services, Phycology, and Sociology are encouraged to apply. A qualifying criminal background check and a valid driver’s license are also required.

Our Residential Program is looking for compassionate C.N.A Professionals to work with medical involved individuals in a 24 hour supported home environment located in Taunton and surrounding communities. On a daily basis, the C.N.A will provide a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, consumer outings, meal preparation, ADL care, facilitate family visitations, distribute medication while maintaining human rights at all times.
