Our Accounting Department is seeking an Accounting Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing division goals of providing fiscal and administrative support to the program divisions of the agency, focusing on the general ledger and account reconciliation. The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for; overseeing and reconciling general ledger accounts, including reviewing and posting of all cash receipts batches. This positon will be responsible for preparing daily cash balances analysis for all bank accounts. This positon is also responsible for preparing and entering standard monthly journal entries and entering unit rate, cost reimbursement and other monthly billing into the accounts receivable system.

High school diploma is required and at least two years of college-level accounting courses completed. Two years’ experience preferred in book keeping/accounting functions. Familiarity with Window-based general ledger software, Excel and Word. Candidate must be analytical and detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a collaborative and flexible environment.

Our Positive Behavior Support Program is looking for a dynamic individual to join the team as a Registered Behavior Technician. Under the supervision of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) this individual will monitor Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans, (an approach based on principle of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) ) that assist adults with developmental disabilities in a residential and day habilitation setting acquiring, retaining, improving, the skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans under the close ongoing supervision of a BCBA
  • Participate in clinical supervision provided by a BCBA
  • Observe clients and staff in their natural environment
  • Collect data sheets from programs, graph, and assist with data analysis
  • Train staff in Non-Violent Management of Aggressive Behavior (NVMAB) and Positive Behavior Supports (PBS)
  • Monitor staff implementation of NVMAB and PBS and provide feedback when necessary
  • Assist with curriculum development for various trainings and monitoring those trainings
  • Create materials related to Positive Behavior Support Plans and the implementation of PBS.
  • Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with consumer guardians.
  • Attend meetings with guardians, management and staff to communicate any concerns

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required, Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician or working towards certification.
  • Experience with monitoring behavior plans.
  • Two years experience monitoring PBS plans and working with adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with monitoring staff in NVMAB and PBS is required.
  • Must comply with supervision from the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Reporting to the COO, this position provides leadership and management of the Residential Services Division which includes Residential and Individual Supports. The division includes over 30 residential homes. These programs support over 170 individuals and are continuously growing.

Essential Functions

  • Works as part of the Administrative Management Team (AMT) to identify and respond to growth and quality issues within the division.
  • This position is responsible for the oversight of all programs and supervises the staff within the division, including managers and directors. The division includes over 400 employees, including 4 Assistant Directors and 1 Director. Responsible for contributing to the Agency’s success through participation in the development of the Strategic Plan; engaging in effective management of strategic and long-term planning activities and outcomes specific to the programs assigned; fostering an understanding of the Leadership Message, linking the importance of the 4-Key Indicators of success that include: Profitability, Growth, Employee Recognition and Reward and Quality Service to staff; supporting our core principles, leadership guidelines and consistently upholding the fundamentals of People, Incorporated’s mission statement in all activities related to the functions of the position.

  • Engage and collaborate on grant submissions, contracts, and request for proposals pertaining to identified programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field.
  • Minimum of eight years experience in a senior management role in social or human services setting.
  • Knowledge of government contracting processes.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate programs and create premier services.
  • Strong leadership and visionary skills within organizations and service communities.
  • Fiscal experience managing budgets over $10M is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, excel in a fast-paced environment and meet established strategic goals.

Our Residential Program is looking for compassionate Relief Direct Care Professionals to work in a team environment and provide premier services to the consumers in our care. On a daily basis, this position will: provide a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, consumer outings, meal preparation, ADL care, facilitate family visitations, and distribute medication while maintaining human rights at all times. This position will implement Positive Behavior Support and individual programs as identified in the Individual Service Plans. At times, de-escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others. These positions require a flexible schedule including 2nd and/or 3rd shifts.

These positions require a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and direct care experience and relevant trainings. Training to include but not limited to; MAP certification; NVMAB, First Aid and CPR.
