FALL RIVER, MA (July 6, 2018) - People Incorporated Welcomes Adam Coderre to Camp Jack as its New Camp Director
Camping season will begin shortly at Camp Jack, and People Incorporated is proud to introduce Adam Coderre as the new camp director. Adam began as a lifeguard and counselor at Camp Welch in Assonet, MA and later ran one of the day camp programs and the resident program, a career that spanned 15 years. He’s excited to bring all of this experience to oversee operations at Camp Jack, which is now located within a section of Camp Welch, his old stomping grounds.
Adam was also the Youth Services Coordinator at the Fall River Boys & Girls Club and worked as a teacher in the Fall River Public Schools. Adam’s background in education and youth development, along with his extensive experience in running camp programs, make him an asset to moving Camp Jack forward and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for the children we serve.
The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes is a place where kids age 5-14 with Type 1 diabetes, and their siblings, and friends, benefit from hands-on learning experiences in diabetes management and support in a fun and welcoming environment. The children join us for six weeks during the months of July and August, and with plenty of supervision from exceptional role models, campers experience and learn something new every day.
