The Diabetes Association, Inc., (DAI) a program of People, Incorporated, hosted The Jack Rua Invitational on August 15, 2016 at the Crestwood Country Club in Rehoboth, MA.

This annual event is held in honor of Jack Rua, one of the founding partners of the Rua-Dumont-Audet Insurance Agencies. Serving for many years as its President, the DAI held a special place in Jack’s heart and we are honored to host this event each year, the proceeds of which go directly to the programs and services of the DAI including the Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes. Camp Jack is a specialized camp which runs six weeks in July and August for kids with diabetes.

The 2016 Jack Rua Invitational Chairman, and member of the People, Incorporated Board of Directors, Dennis Read, remarked, “While we are still finalizing our results, we project this year’s event to be the most successful in our Agency’s history. We are incredibly grateful to all who turned out today, including our sponsors, our volunteers, and everyone who has graciously donated to The Jack Rua Invitational to make it the tremendous success it has been.”
