It is because of your support, help, and commitment that we are able to hold such a successful event year after year for the SouthCoast Mentoring Initiative for Learning, Education, and Service (SMILES).
Join us on Sunday, April 22, 2018, in the Fall River Industrial Park, starting at 900 Riggenbach Road! We will be running and walking a scenic 5K route in the Fall River Industrial Park. We will also host a free fun run for children 12 years and under!
We need your help! By helping raise funds for the Tenth Annual Miles for SMILES, you will fulfill the mission of SMILES mentors to educate, inspire and engage leaders of the future. Start Now!

Spreading the word about Miles for SMILES becomes as easy as a click away! Email your fundraising page or post it on social media to let your family and friends know how important SMILES is to you.
With your help, SMILES has raised more than $500,000 through the Miles for SMILES event since its inception ten years ago. Proceeds from the event are used to run the programs within the Fall River and New Bedford communities and are vital to our youth. By supporting Miles for SMILES, YOU are making the difference that allows us to effect positive change in our region. By helping more of our youth succeed with their education, we strengthen our community because an educated child has a much greater opportunity to grow into a successful and productive adult. Running is like Mentoring: The reward is in the journey!
Don’t forget that all runners and walkers must register through Racewire. Anyone who registers before the race will receive long sleeve t-shirt. The race begins at 9:30 am. Family-friendly activities will be held throughout the morning starting at 8:00 am. Register at www.mfs2018.racewire.com
The free kids’ fun run will begin at 9:00 am and requires "day of" registration, at the event, with a parent or guardian present.
