For more than 50 years, People Incorporated has continued to move steadily forward while maintaining a solid foundation.

We are a forward-thinking human service agency staffed by caring people who are proud to create opportunities for children, adults, and families throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. We strongly believe in our mission, enormously respect the efforts of the people we employ and will continue to work tirelessly for the betterment of our community.

People Incorporated strives to create an environment where everyone can contribute; where hard work is rewarded and where professional growth and development is encouraged and supported. Staff working at People Incorporated make a significant impact on the people we support through our various programs.

Individually and as a team, WE make a difference to people of all abilities!

People Incorporated is highly recognized as providing comprehensive family and children's services throughout the Southcoast.  We are an organization that builds upon the strengths of each child, adult, family, and community through effective, accessible, fully integrated services and partnerships.

All of our services assist the entire family in meeting their goals.  We inspire children to reach their academic goals, families to bond, and communities to become stronger together.  Whatever concerns may be raised by an individual or a family - the support, education, and assistance they need can be found at People Incorporated!

There are multiple ways to get more involved!

The health and safety of our supported individuals, staff, and the community is our top priority.  We are carefully following the safety protocols and updated guidelines regarding COVID-19, as directed by the CDC, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the many state agencies with which we work.

Here are just a few Agency responses to advisories from the state:

  • We are offering Telehealth and Virtual Visits to continue services when in-person visits are not possible (updates here)
  • All Day Service and Day Habilitation Programs are closed or offering virtual visits (updates here)
  • Some Children’s Services programs are closed and/or offering virtual services (listing here)
  • We have closed our Community Playroom.
  • We are restricting non-essential visitors and instituting a screening protocol for all programs and facilities per state agency guidelines.

We take these steps in an abundance of caution to help slow the spread of the virus and protect the health and safety of the people we serve.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation during these unsettling times.  Our leadership team and staff are also residents of the surrounding communities. As locals, we also face the challenges and are feeling the impact of this coronavirus outbreak, and seeing the resulting uncertainty in our community.

We look forward to a time when we can once again welcome visitors and come together safely as a group.  On behalf of the staff and the people we serve, please take care and stay well.
